We designed this reassuring location, full of soul, memories and emotions, as a logical continuation of the direction our brand has taken, towards furniture that can be passed down from generation to generation, using high-quality materials from locally-based factories and artisans, cutting out the middle man. This label was created by the Galeries Lafayette group to favour transparent proposals with the least impact on the environment, and that support local production or contribute to social development. The result was a unique 130m² space on the ground floor that strongly affirms the desire to feel good in your own home, and where every element complies with the criteria from the Go for Good label. On the occasion of Paris Design Week and as part of the “Home Good Home” event, The Socialite Family and Le BHV Marais are teaming up to promote an eco-friendly home! The department store’s (very) special guest, Constance Gennari – founder and artistic director of The Socialite Family – had carte blanche to design an eco-friendly designer apartment that combined items from all the departments in this Parisian shopping mecca.
